International Service
Burnsville Rotary not only supports our community, but communities around the world. In 2022-2023 alone, we dedicated more than $20,000 to international charity projects, such as:
* Two medical clinics in Kenya and Honduras, to be built by Fairview Health Services with matching grants from Rotary.
* Safe drinking water in the Philippines, through the A Single Drop program. We are working with two other local clubs to get a matching grant from Rotary International; the total donation will be more than $31,000.
* The International Village Clinic, a non-profit organization bringing medical services to poor villages in India.
* Polio eradication, an ongoing mission of Rotary International.
* A library in Cameroon, Africa.
* Homes in Dominica.
