The role of the Vocational Service Committee is to develop projects that help members contribute their vocational talents. In Burnsville, we do this by focusing on youth and encouraging them to explore their own vocational paths and expand their community.

Every year, Burnsville Rotary gives scholarships to worthy Burnsville High School and Burnsville Area Learning Center seniors, helping them achieve a college education.

We also send students to Rotary-sponsored camps, such as RYLA, a four-day camp designed to train high school students to be active citizens and strong leaders, and Camp Enterprise, which teaches students about the free market system.

In 2022, we donated more than $18,000 to programs that assist local schoolchildren in various ways such as utilizing Brainpower in a Backpack to feed students and their families, teaching students to read, and sending them to national academics competitions.
